Self Rescue-EX

In the spring, we are offering a rescue focused class to assist both rock leaders and rock followers.  This year’s Rescue-EX focuses on the technical skills required to improvise solutions and manage emergencies in vertical terrain.

The class is offered over three weekday evenings and two full weekend days. 

The curriculum covers both leader and follower rescue scenarios, including:

• Escaping the Belay

• Follower Rescue from Above

• Leader Rescue from Below

• Tandem Rappels

• Passing Knots on Rappel

• Lowering from above
